Echo of the Machine
Echo of the Machine explores human–machine ties. Ambient sound, synthesis, mechanical noise, static and cut-up music become breath, commands, memory and system vibration.
People make machines, which reshape perception, expression and judgment. Resistance and reliance coexist in communication and self-recognition.
Close-ups, distorted bodies, flickering interfaces and data form a nonlinear scene of real and generated images. Consciousness is copied, fed back and rebuilt: people watch while being watched, recorded and calculated.
《Echo of the Machine》探索人与机器相互牵连的关系。环境声、电子合成声、机械噪音、数字杂讯与切割的音乐片段构成不稳定的声场。声音既是呼吸、指令和记忆残响，也是系统持续运转的震动。
机器由人制造，却不断改变人的感知、表达与判断。人既抗拒它，也在日常交流和自我确认中依赖它；排斥与依赖显露出二者共同生长的关系。
影像以放大的局部、失真的身体、闪烁界面和数据构成非线性现场。真实与生成彼此叠合，意识不断被复制、反馈和重组；人在观看，也被观看、记录和计算。
