织锦

Weaving is the central metaphor for image-making and stage space. Traditional textile patterns, colours and landscapes form moving multimedia layers that intersect with performers, lighting and sound.

Warp and weft suggest connection and accumulated time. Patterns gather, dissolve and reconstruct, linking memory with the present. Brocade becomes the trace of relationships passing through one another, rather than a finished decorative image.
